Senior year has been quite difficult for me for many reasons. The stress of graduating and my mother's surgery, getting a job, ADULT responsibilities, you know, all THAT stuff... It's hard to post art here anymore. I am doing more art than usual, actually, it just never leaves school. I don't do much digital stuff anymore because all my art is for class and I don't have time here at home. But out I am so excited to graduate high school. My college transition seems like it is going to go smoothly, and I've accomplished a long time goal of mine to be in some real art competitions. I've gotten a pretty good scholarship for art, too. Sorry about the complete lack of art posted lately. I've been so busy with school and everything that I have had no time to do anything I like to do. And I just tried out for my school's production of Les Miserables, and got a part (I understudy for Madame Thenardier... I wanted to get her, but being an understudy is good enough for me) so there's that, too, to keep me from being artistic. I am going to take this time to sketch and become better at anatomy, and writing my novel that I've been working on between scenes that I'm on. So, yeah, wish me luck. So, I made a new years resolution to write a novel this year. It's a big deal for me because I write in notebooks all the time, I mean those things are JAMMED with words. But they never get typed. And I have six or so plot bunnies bouncing around in my mind, and I'm trying to focus on one. Originally, I wanted to write the book that I've plotted and thought about for a year now, but on a whim, I changed my mind. I'm pretty sure I'm going to write a book I thought up not too long ago.
